Planning granted for 37 new affordable homes in Ashbourne!

YESSSSS! 🎉🏘

We are extremely excited that planning permission has been granted for 37 much needed new affordable homes on a brownfield site in Ashbourne. At the planning committee meeting last night incredibly positive feedback was provided about the quality and sustainability of the scheme. It has been an absolute treat to work with MyPad again, who have such a progressive vision for social housing.

The proposal draws influence from the adjacent Victorian terraces and reflects the local vernacular to provide a high quality solution for the gateway into Ashbourne’s conservation area. Open panel timber frames will be used, which comply with Homes England Modern Methods of Construction Agenda, plus high levels of insulation, air source heat pumps and photovoltaics to remove gas from the homes in a super-efficient way.

We can’t wait to see work start on site. Watch this space….
